Sleep laughing
You ever watch a movie with someone and they fall asleep. Then you start to laugh at something in the movie and that person laughs while they sleep? Why is that?
True villain
It hit me the other day. Dorthy from the Wizard of Oz is the real villain of the movie. She killed two people in that movie and was rewarded in the end. What kind of message does that send kids? Kill the old looking lady and get pair of shoes and other rewards? Sure one can say that the witches were evil and deserved it but I say they are just miss understood bullies. They picked on the people in the Land of Oz because they were miss understood. Like bullies on a playground. Sure we punish these children if they get out of hand but we do not kill them. I think that Dorthy should be held accountable for her actions.
I was discussing this with a coworker in our neighborhood coffee shop Katy's[1] and everyone thought I was crazy. They pointed out that the way the witches died was accidental.
