Dreamhost allows me to server the internets with mongrel! hooray! No more crazy memory spikes with fast cgi. I get a graph that tells me my cpu and memory usage and I would have wild swings in memory with fast cgi. Since I am hosting many sites I still run fast cgi but not for this site. I hope it makes a difference.
